Why should anyone care
Finally, once your are ready with your Press Release, be a self critic and ask “Why should anyone care for this PR?”. Remember, your Press Release muist give something to the target audience for its time worth reading. It might be a great offer, service or news. But it should be worth time spend reading it.

Nice Post. But let me add, do not make your PR too much like an ad or a landing page, many of the good release sites will reject those kinds of releases. It has to be “newsworthy”
This is good information. I’ve been meaning to make that jump into press releases. I’ve sort of been bogged down in work and do a lot of article writing. I just don’t seem to have the confidence to write something news like.
