Daniel Scocco of Daily Blog Tips, again pointed out two Feedburner Errors which is bothering him and other Bloggers too. Here are the Glitches he was talking about:
Subject Line in Email Subscriptions
The Email Newsletter your Feedburner Email Subscriber receives, contains your Blog Name as the Subject Line. Wouldn’t it be better if you get the Blog Post as the Subject Line? That would make much sense also. Imagine you having a Blog which updated couple of times everyday. Now imagine your Email Subscribers are getting 4 mails with the same subject line. To me that would look like more of a Spam attempt rather than genuine updates.
Displaying the Feed Subscriber Count
This is the glitch even I know about. Feedburner have a history of not showing the Subscription Count properly. Sometimes it shows your regular Subscriber Count then drops the number dramatically and corrects it after few days again. Clearly Feedburner or its now owner Google got to correct this issue pretty soon. Funny thing is the subscription count always drops. Why can’t it climb up, if its a genuine glitch? Now that is something I have never noticed.
Have a nice Day..!!

It turns out you can change the subject line in feedburner to reflect the title of the latest blog posting. Go to publicize > email branding and here you can change the email subject line. If you click on “change email subject when 2 or more topics” check box, you will see examples of the sudo code they use to dynamically insert the posting title.
