Filter Results by Type

This one is easy of the lot and adds few more options than that already exists. You can easily filter results by the Type of output you are looking at, to get more refined Results. For Example you can filter results to show only Video Results, Results from Forums, Reviews etc.

Filter Results by Time

Its obvious. Here you get options to filter the results by Time. Yu can have a look at the Results that are recent for say a day old, a week old or a year old.

Filter by What to Display

Here you can choose what you want to display. You get three options, to show Standard Results, to show Images from the Pages of the Results and finally show more text instead of the Standard 150 chars it shows.

Different Views to Show Results

This is the most interesting of the Changes. The Different views in which the results can be shown. Standard View is the Normal Ways of Seeing the Search Results. Related Searches shows you a whole bunch of Keywords Suggestion based on your Search Term, and the Keywords Options given are quite relevant.

Wonder Wheel is probably the most useful Addition to the Options Panel. It provides a very handy way to graphically see the results along with the normal results. So say you are Searching for the Term “Blog Tips”, it shows few related terms to “Blog Tips” along site and you can click on them to give direction to your Searches. Thus a whole new Experience for you.

Last but certainly not the least is the addition of a Timeline Search Results. This shows the Search Results in a Timeline format. Its very important if you are searching the evolution of a certain Search Term.
