Learn how to get your RSS Reader to visit your Blog. Doing that you can increase your Pageviews with quality visits, and earn more from the new set of visitors.

High number of RSS Readers denotes the Blog Authority. It states that the Blog has a long list of followers who constantly read the articles published here. However, there is a big disadvantage when it comes to the RSS Reader. It seriously limits your earning potential and decreases pages views from returning visitors. Also RSS Ads have proved to convert very poorly. Even though you would not want to lose your RSS Readers, often you would like them to visit your Blog. Let’s try how to accomplish this task.

1. Deliver only Excerpts via RSS

Probably the best way to bring your RSS Readers to your Blog is to provide them only with Post Excerpts. This way you almost gaurantee their visit to your Blog. However, it comes at a price. It may happen that your content in the Title and the Excerpts is not great and thus results in the Readers to ignore it altogether.

2. Link to other Post

Another sure shot way to get your Subscriber to your Blog is to link Content to previous post or other Parts of your Blog. This way if the RSS Subscriber wants to know more, will have to read the link, which in turn will take it to the Blog.

3. Write Content People want to Tweet or Bookmark

Write post which contains useful links and resources which people would like to Tweet or Share with other people. Although this is not common for a Text only post, unless you are a great writer, it would certianly work with posts containing lots of Links to sueful resources. It is a general tendency for people to open your post in the Browser to Bookmark and Share.

4. Redesign the Blog, change Theme or Layout

Redesign the Blog by changing the Theme or the Layout or add a Category to the Page Menu. Then write about it. Since the content are not available in the RSS Reader, it will cause them to visit your Blog and check it out. Do not use this trick too often as it might be irritating for the RSS Readers.

5. Encourage Reader to post Comments

Finally write an awesome post and encourage your readers to comment on it. You can also try with asking an open ended question and asking for views. This would encourage the Subscribers to visit your Blog and comment on it, to build a discussion.

Let me know if you have any more tips. Have a nice Day..!!

5 handy tips to remember the next time you write your post. This will help you spice up your Blog by making it more engaging for its readers.

Pick up an Engaging Topic

First thing is to pick up an engaging topic. What is an engaging topic? Oh wait, last game of ice skating was fun. Yeah right!! How many people come looking for Ice Skating fun on your Blogging Tips Blog? OK..!! so I helped a guy setup his blog and clear his misconceptions. Will that be an engaging topic? BRILLIANT..!! Now tell the reader about how you helped the newbie get up and going…!!

Remember people come looking for what Pleases them, not reading what pleases you.

Start a Conversation rather than an Article

Second most important thing to make your reader engage into a conversation. There are many bloggers who write on simple topics which you can easily find on the internet. Yet they have floods of traffic moving there way because they state the same fact ina more engaging manner, with a down to earth approach. You while reading such blog feel like you are actually conversing with the person.

Approach any topic you want to write in a way it feel like you are conversing with your readers.

Use High Impact Words

When you want to convey something, there are a lot of ways to do so. A good example to see would be pick any recent event and check four different newspaper to see how they narrate the same in different ways using different words. So when ever the next time you write your psot, remember to use words that provide high impact. Your articles should look like you are stating the obvious.

Words are magic. Use them to keep your Audience glued.

Explain in Clear Cut Way

Clarity wins over jargon. Clarity wins over Tecnicality. Clarity wins over knowledge. Seriously a geeky telling stuff in his high pitched jargon filled words, babbling words not found in the daily dialect. Compare it with a noob who convey in clear way whatever little he knows about the subject. Which one would you choose? You get my point right..?

Clarity wins over all other factors when it comes to Communicating Effectively

Be Entertaining

Most important of the lot. Make sure you entertain your visitor and urge then to come back again and again for more, without ever telling them.

So did you liked the article? Let me know via comments. Have a nice Day..!!

Online Press Release are inexpensive way to communicate any Marketing Campaigns, Launch of a new Service or simply launch of your Blog. Let us look into the essential features of that first Press Release of yours.

Self Explanatory Titles

The Title of the Press Release should be self explanatory. It should speak for its content all by itself. Just by looking at the Title, the reader must understand what he would be expecting in the text body. Treat it as a Abbrevaition of the full text.

First Line of Lead Paragraph

The first paragraph of the Press Release is called a Lead Paragraph. It is the most important one and decides the fate of the Press Release. So always remember to have a strong opening sentence for the Press Release’s Lead Paragraph.

Lead Paragraph Content

Try to answer all the “WH” questions in the opening paragraph. By “WH” means all the What, When, Why, Who, Where etc. So in short, if someone has jsut time to read the Opening paragraph, he should get the complete picture. The other paragraphs should link to the Lead Paragraph and explain further.

Write for Audience + Journalist

Press Release are read by two set of peoples. Journalists and Audience. So keep that in mind while writing the Press Release. Many times it happens the journalist take the Press Release as a starting point for a larger story.

Keep it Simple and Concise

While Press Release are a very effective way to reach a large media, don’t try to overload with a lot of stuff. Keep your content count to the optimum. Do not skip important contents while do not over write also.

Avoid Jargon

Last thing you would want from your Press Release is to convey the wrong message. So it is very important on your part to avoid Jargon and Technical Terms. However, remember Jargon is a subjective term. Do not try to over simplify things also. Find your Audience demographics

Add a Human Touch

Try to add a human touch to the Press Release. It might be a simple narration of a story which narrates the emothional aspect link with the PR. It helps in gathering attention a lot.

Why should anyone care

Finally, once your are ready with your Press Release, be a self critic and ask “Why should anyone care for this PR?”. Remember, your Press Release muist give something to the target audience for its time worth reading. It might be a great offer, service or news. But it should be worth time spend reading it.

With these simple tips in mind, pick up your pen / keyboard (whichever your prefer) and start writing the Press Release of yours.
